The purpose of the course is to enhance awareness and understanding of what is E, S and G, with associated criteria, understanding of Sustainability Development Goals (SDG), challenges of integration and implementation of ESG into organizational strategy
Course Objectives
This course aims to provide participants with knowledge and understanding on:
• Introduce the concept of sustainability to board members
• Discover the key elements in sustainability reporting
• Interpret Bursa’s amended listing requirement relating to sustainability disclosures
• Recognize sustainability related principles applicable to business strategy and steps to institutionalization.
• How to create awareness of board responsibility for ensuring adequate consideration of sustainability risks
• How to present companies with ideas on how to implement adequate board structures and processes to support the systematic integration of sustainability matters
• Generate an understanding of the relevance of sustainability for business strategy and long-term success
• Guide board members in the transformation process such as setting objectives and targets and monitoring programme
